To celebrate Halloween and bring fun to the community, the PALS program will host the first Pal-o-Ween in the cafeteria Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m.
“There are over 20 different booths and stations of Pal-o-ween that various clubs and organizations are hosting,” PALS sponsor Carrie Bell PAL said. “They know that they’re supposed to be geared towards younger, like elementary age kids.”
PALs make sure kids will not feel offended by anything and they will be safe for the whole time.
“We are not planning to have bright light or strong smell,” Bell said. “Parents are supposed to be with their kids, so hopefully their parents will help them if they need help or keep them. You know if they want to wander off or something. So their parents will be in charge.”
“We will have booths for different games,” member of PALS Kayla Kosfiszer said. “We can make sure everyone can enjoy the game.”
Though the students have worked hard to market the event, they are eager to see the turn out from the community.
“We’ll know it’s a successful event if it has a big turnout,” Bell said. “If all the booths show up and get their games or booths set up on time.”
