Wilmal Stewart is a senior at Plano West and is happy to be a Staff Writer for the Blueprints newspaper this year. She enjoys writing short stories and reading historical nonfiction books. In her free time, you can find her curled up in blankets binging Netflix shows.
Her interest in journalism sparked from her continuous enjoyment of following up with current events and sharing that information through her writings. She started reading newspaper stories from The Washington Post in middle school, and from then she knew that this is exactly what she wanted to do. She hopes to expand her range of experience and meet new people along the way.
