Meron Mesfin is a senior at Plano West. This year she chose to be on the newspaper staff because of her immense love for writing. She plans to be a journalist in the future and hopes that taking journalism will improve and broaden her writing skills. Meron enjoys drawing in her free time. Her interests reside mainly in journalism, but she dabbles in other art forms such as painting. Meron’s personal goals for the newspaper are to write articles with purpose, polish/grow her journalist skills, and create a portfolio she can be proud of.
