This is my first year as a staff writer for the Plano West BluePrints. I spent the past two years as a staffer and then copy editor of the Jasper Yearbook before switching to the newspaper, after I discovered that it was the perfect combination of my love of writing and current events. I have recently started to consider journalism as a major in college, so I am excited for the chance to explore the field. I am something of a bookworm, and you can find me reading about current events, history, and occasionally sculpting—when I am not buried under a pile of homework.
