Cool Thursdays Concert Series

Where: Dallas Arboretum
Price: $27 for single person, group tickets $25 per person
Grab your friends and family to see live performances from various bands every Thursday. The event takes place on the Martin Rutchik Concert Lawn at the Dallas Arboretum. Bring blankets and lawn chairs that sit at a low level to create a more comfortable viewing experience. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and ice chests filled with foods of your choice.
Arts in Bloom
When: April 9, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Historic Downtown McKinney
Price: Free
Travel to downtown McKinney to view various mediums of art. The day includes a wide variety of activities, such as an artistic showcase, farmers market and a competition hosted by McKinney Musical Arts Society featuring young performers. You will get the opportunity to learn about both the history and art of McKinney.
Justin Bieber – Purpose World Tour

Justin Bieber is back and performing his new album Purpose to crowds across the nation. Watch Bieber’s fluid dance moves and listen to his matured voice in person. Since his album Journals from 2013, Bieber has made a reappearance in 2015 to show the world what he has been up to for the past two years.
Dallas Art Fair
When: April 14 – 17, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Fashion Industry Gallery

Prominent and international art dealers will show their creations at the 8th annual Dallas Art Fair. Some examples of what they will be showcasing are paintings, sculptures and photographs. Everyone is welcome to view these modern and contemporary stylized pieces.
Dallas International Film Festival

Dallas is hosting its 10th annual film festival this spring. To find out where each film is being shown and the time, go to their website www.dallasfilmfestival.org. You can either obtain a voucher, pass or buy a ticket at the door. A voucher can be used as a normal ticket depending on the circumstance, however they do not guarantee admission to any screening. If you are planning to attend everything in the festival, a pass would be a suitable choice. You would be able to get priority seating at each event and enjoy not having to wait in line.
