Taste of Bishop Arts District

Bring your friends and family to taste the food of Bishop Arts District in Dallas. Along with eating a variety of treats from Eno’s Pizza, Lockhart Smokehouse, Dude, Sweet Chocolate and Veracruz Mesoamerican Cafe, visitors will be able to learn about the history of Bishop Arts. Purchasing a ticket in advance is a requirement for this event.

 

Out of the Loop Fringe Festival

When: February 25 – March 6

Where: Watertower Theatre at Addison Conference & Theatre Center

Price: $10-$45

This event is an 11-day celebration of theatre, dance, music and art. The festival features performances by arts organizations and artists across the nation. 23 artists will be participating in this year’s festival. The performances are in four venues at the Addison Theatre Center: the Main Stage, the Studio Theatre, the Stone Cottage and the Main Lobby.

 

31st Annual Texas Home & Garden Show

When: March 5, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.- March 6 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Where: Dallas Market Hall

Price: Adults: $10 (Children 14 and under are free)

The Texas Home and Garden Show contains thousands of money saving ideas that could update the look of your home. Walk around Dallas’ Market Hall to view various types of arrangements handcrafted by many volunteers. The arrangements have all different varieties of flowers. The designs can go from modern to contemporary. You can also meet face to face with the creators and ask specific questions based on their selection. Enjoy this event that is appropriate for all ages.

 

Rihanna: The Anti World Tour

Where: American Airlines Center

Watch singing-sensation Rihanna perform at her Anti World Tour. The tour includes an upcoming rap artist name of Travis Scott. Produced by Live Nation, the concert will include various songs from past albums. Most importantly, she will sing her new album, ANTI, coming soon to local stores.

 

The Little Mermaid

When: March 11 – March 27

Where: The Music Hall at Fair Park

Sing along with the cast of The Little Mermaid as they come to the Dallas-Plano area. To the stage. Based on the Disney animated film, The Little Mermaid will return to the music hall. The musical opened in New York in 2008 and has been performing all over the nation. The show is suitable for all ages.

 

DFW Auto Show

When: March 16 and 17, 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; March 18 and 19, 10:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m.;                     March 20 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The DFW Auto Show is an ideal opportunity for residents of Dallas and Plano to view vehicles from major companies in one place. It started in 1982 with a few cars, and now the Auto Show boasts more than half a million square feet of cars. The event showcases new cars, trucks and SUV’s.
