Your Prom Timeline
Things to Do the Week Before Prom
Day 7
– Break in your shoes.
– Call and make any reservations for dinner, hair or nails.
Day 6
– Confirm that corsage/boutonniere arrangements will be ready the day of prom.
Day 5
– Buy accessories that go well with your dress.
– If you have not done so already, purchase the tickets.
Day 4
– Do a run-through of your makeup so you are not experimenting on the actual day of prom.
Day 3
– Confirm your plans with your parents for the night of prom.
– Double-check that the dress and vest color match for you and your date.
Day 2
– Get your nails done.
– Look online or in magazines for inspiration for what you want your hair to look like on prom.
Day 1
– If you are carrying a purse, make sure you pack necessities to be prepared for anything (bobby pins, mints, gum or perfume, for example.)
Night Of
– Start getting ready early in the day, leaving time for last-minute changes.
