This fall, there are many new and exciting T.V. shows that will keep you on the edge of your seat all season long. Different series such as Red Band Society, Selfie and A-Z are among the most popular shows that will give you a good excuse to stay home on Friday nights.
Red Band Society premiered on Sept. 17 on Fox Network and has kept many people hungry for more. This interesting series is set in the pediatric ward of Los Angeles Ocean Park Hospital, focused on a group of teenagers living together as patients. Throughout the show, main characters Jordi, Emma and Leo explore friendships, relationship dynamics, heartbreaks and much more. Red Band Society has received mixed reviews and is worth giving a try.
The next show, Selfie, is a new series that heavily relates to our society on the “social media obsession” spectrum. The show is about Eliza Dooley, played by Karen Gillan, who has hundreds of thousands of followers on her social media websites. She is extremely attached to her Instagram account and gradually detaches herself from the real world. But after a workplace mishap goes viral, she realizes that being famous is not all that great. She asks her boss, Henry, to help her interact with people in the real world. Selfie aired on Sept. 27, and it has received mixed reviews thus far. It is one of the most talked about shows that has come out this season.
On NBC, A-Z is also one of the most popular, well-reviewed shows that premiered on Oct. 2. It is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Andrew and Zelda in their relationship endeavors. The entire season will go into detail about every aspect of the couple. Andrew’s character is a lovey-dovey, destiny-believing, sensitive guy; however, Zelda’s character is a skeptical workaholic who could not be less thrilled about going on dates. Their character dynamics are what make this show very different from others.
